वक्रतुण्ड महाकाय सूर्य कोटि समप्रभ |
निर्विघ्नं कुरू मे देव, सर्व कार्येषु सर्वदा ||१||
यह वाक्य “गणेश चालीसा” से है, जो भगवान गणेश की महिमा का वर्णन करता है। इसमें गणेश की महाशक्ति और आशीर्वाद की प्रार्थना की गई है।इस श्लोक में, भगवान गणेश की महिमा और आराधना की गई है। इसका अर्थ है:
जो कि वक्राकृति के विशाल स्वरूप, महाकाय और सूर्य की कोटि समान प्रकाशवाले हैं,वह मुझे सभी कार्यों में हर प्रकार के विघ्नों से मुक्त करें, हे देव! सदा के लिए। जिनकी सुंड घुमावदार है, जिनका शरीर विशाल है, जो करोड़ सूर्यों के समान तेजस्वी हैं, वही भगवान मेरे सभी काम बिना बाधा के पूरे करने की कृपा करें ||१||

May the one who is huge in shape, huge in form and has light equal to the size of the sun, free me from all kinds of obstacles in all my work, O God! Forever. May the Lord whose trunk is curved, whose body is huge, who is as bright as crores of suns, please complete all my work without any hindrance.
One who has a twisted trunk, one who has a massive body and whose brilliance is similar to Million of Suns . O God, Please make my all endeavors free of obstacles and hinderances, by extending Your Blessings in whatever I do.(1) (Sanskrit Shlok)
नमामि देवं सकलार्थदं तं सुवर्णवर्णं भुजगोपवीतम्ं |
गजाननं भास्करमेकदन्तं लम्बोदरं वारिभावसनं च ||२||
यह श्लोक गणेश भगवान की स्तुति करता है, जिन्हें सर्वार्थ साधने वाले, सोने के रंग के, जटाधारी, हाथ में साँप का माला धारण करने वाले, एक दंती, आदित्य की तरह चमकते हुए, लम्बे पेट वाले, और वाहन गज को धारण करने वाले हैं। ये उसका मतलब है और इसका शब्दशः अर्थ है की :
उन भगवान् गजानन की वन्दना करता हूँ जो समस्त कामनाओं को पूर्ण करनेवाले हैं सुवर्ण तथा सूर्य के समान देदीप्यमान कान्ति से चमक रहे हैं. सर्पका यज्ञोपवीत धारण करते हैं एकदन्त लम्बोदर हैं तथा कमल के आसनपर विराजमान हैं||२||
This verse praises Lord Ganesha, who is known as the doer of all things, of golden complexion, with matted hair, holding a garland of snakes in his hand, having a dithi, shining like Aditya, having a long stomach, and having a vehicle called Gaja. Are. This is what it means and it literally means:

गणेशाय विध्महे वक्रतुण्डाय धीमहि।
तन्नो दन्ति प्रचोदयात||३||
यह श्लोक भगवान गणेश के श्रेष्ठता की स्तुति करता है। “गणेशाय विध्महे” का अर्थ है हम भगवान गणेश को जानते हैं और उन्हें पहचानते हैं। “वक्रतुण्डाय धीमहि” का अर्थ है हम उनकी ध्यान करते हैं और सोचते हैं। “तन्नो दन्ति प्रचोदयात्” का अर्थ है हमें उनके दंतों (वाहन) की ओर प्रेरित करें। इस श्लोक का पाठ गणेश पूजा और साधना में किया जाता है, ताकि उनकी कृपा और सहायता प्राप्त हो सके||३||
This verse praises the supremacy of Lord Ganesha. “Ganeshaya Vidhamhe” means we know and recognize Lord Ganesha. “Vakratundaya Dhimahi” means we meditate and think about them. “Tanno danti prachodayat” means inspire us towards his teeth (vehicle). विघ्नेश्वराय वरदाय सुरप्रियाय
लम्बोदराय सुरारिप्रियाय नमो नम||४||
बहुत अच्छा! यह एक बहुत ही प्रसन्नजनक और धर्मिक श्लोक है। इसमें गणेश भगवान की महिमा और महत्त्व का वर्णन किया गया है। इस श्लोक में कहा गया है कि गणेश भगवान सभी विघ्नों को दूर करने वाले हैं और उनका पूजन करने से भक्तों को आशीर्वाद प्राप्त होता है||४||
I bow again and again to Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, the bestower of blessings, beloved of the gods,
The one with a large belly, who is dear to the enemies of the gods(४). (Sanskrit Shlok)
बिल्वपत्रं शिवार्पणं शम्भोर्मुक्तिफलप्रदम्|
सुखस्पर्शाय कुपितानां प्रणतोऽस्मि गणाधिपम्||५||
इस श्लोक में कहा गया है कि बिल्वपत्र को भगवान शिव को अर्पित करता हूँ, जो मुक्ति का फल प्रदान करते हैं। मैं विघ्नहर्ता गणेश को नमस्कार करता हूँ, जो सुख के संपर्क के लिए और क्रोधित लोगों के शांति के लिए हैं||५||
In this verse it is said that I offer Bilvapatra to Lord Shiva, who bestows the fruit of liberation. I salute Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, who is the contact of happiness and the pacifier of the angry(5). (Sanskrit Shlok)
अगजानन पद्मार्कम् गजाननम् अहर्निशम्।
अनेकदन्तम् भक्तानाम् एकदन्तम् उपास्महे||६||

Vighnashine – This term refers to him as the destroyer of obstacles(7).
एकदन्ताय विद्महे वक्रतुण्डाय धीमही|
तन्नो दन्ति प्रचोदयात्||८||
“एकदन्ताय” का अर्थ है एक दंत वाले को हम जानते हैं|
“वक्रतुण्डाय” का अर्थ है वक्रतुण्ड (वक्राकार मुखवाला) को हम ध्यान देते हैं|
“तन्नो दन्ति प्रचोदयात्” का अर्थ है हमारे उस दन्ति को प्रेरित करें||८||
“Ekadantay” means we know one with one tooth.
“Vakratundaya” means We pay attention to Vakratunda (with a curved face).
“Tanno danti prachodyat” means inspire that tooth of ours(8)
